Hi, I’m Chaitanya. I’m 13, live in Mumbai, and I think my suitcase spends more time with me than my school bag. I’m into reading, robotics, golf, video games, and meeting new people, but honestly—traveling is my favorite “sport.”.
I’ve traveled across India and to places like the USA, UK, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland (yes, I ate too much chocolate), Italy (pizza heaven), Turkey (bazaar overload), South Africa (real Lion King vibes), Kenya (zebras > traffic jams), Egypt (pyramids + sunburn), Bhutan (so peaceful it made me whisper), and Amsterdam—okay, “Asterdom” as I used to call it when I was little.
Each country had its own drama. In the USA, the burgers were so huge I thought I’d need GPS to find the pickle. In the UK, I mastered the art of standing in queues politely while secretly screaming inside. Ireland felt straight out of a fantasy novel, minus the fairies. Spain was churros, churros, churros—don’t ask how many. In Switzerland, I ate enough cheese to qualify as a cow. Italy? I’m still arguing with my friends that their pizza ruins every other pizza forever. Turkey’s markets nearly convinced me I need 17 carpets and 12 lamps. In Africa, I realized wild animals are cooler than zoo ones, especially when they ignore you. And Egypt… let’s just say pyramids are awesome until you climb halfway and realize your water bottle is empty.
